ign.timing on roler cam

will the fact "this" distributor (is a "hei" unit) it to be used on a 5.7 with roler camshaft (power 1500-5500) same powerband intake, headders, holley 3311 carb, no egr and 5speed change the way i set the distr?
i'm thinking 14*initial 34* all in at 2600-2800.
full vaccum adv. restricted to 10*
to wild, to mild or close to ideal

Re: ign.timing on roler cam

What heads, whats the compression, what are the cam specs? Those will help give an idea of what timing it might like to start with.
