Need help finding where dipstick goes into block

ok, well yesterday we bought an 85 Z28 with the TPI 305, and since it was the special ****** edition, one of the previous owners thought it would be funny to remove the dipstick tube. I tried comparing my Irocs engine to the Z28, but still cant find the place where the tube is inserted into the block, I know its on the passenger side, but other than that im not sure. If anyone could post a pic I would appreciate it, thanks in advance guys

use a flashlight in the dark and look for the hole. Should be slightly above the oil pan on the pass side. You should be able to find it, unless it ran off

dude we jacked it up , and still couldn't see anything(yes we checked with a flashlight), Im sure the person responsible for this plugged it up, because we drove it 70 miles to get it to our house, I just need a picture to confirm where the tube plugs in

I'ts on the passenger side of the block, just behind the front of the starter motor. My dipstick runs just to the rear of the #6 plug.It can be hard to see,The hole could be covered with dirt maybe.I dont know why anyone would plug it up.

Unless it's a replacement engine. Dipstick might have been in the oil pan only. Or look on driver's side just below the cylinder head, could be an earlier engine.
