AFR 220CC
Alright... right now i have a ZZ4 motor in my camaro .. with some stock 350 heads on it.. nothing special, im looking at purchasing a set of AFR 220cc sp comp aluminum cylinder heads that are ported and have 1.08 and 1.60 valves. the valve springs on the AFR heads are good for up to a .700 lift cam. I was wondering if i went with this set of heads and a cam this big would i still be able to run on pump gas & would this be too much for the stock zz4 motor bottom end. Im planing to run a edelbrock performer intake. Or should i go would a different intake... and of course my t-5 will not hold up with this kind of top on my motor alrighty figured that one.

Re: AFR 220CC
Old style AFR's or new AFR 220's?
Those heads are really big for a 350 unless you wanted to turn 7500+ rpm. In that case, the ZZ4 bottom end probably would spin apart...performer intake wouldnt cut it either
I wouldnt do it. Stick to a 180-195 cc head, 2.02-2.05 valve, 6500 rpm or so.

Don't you mean 2.08 intake and 1.60 valves?
To answer we need more info. What cam are you going to be using. We need to know the actual cam not a guess and compression ratio.
Being you have a stock bottom end wouldn't 180's be better?

Re: AFR 220CC
If you dont already have the heads, i'd seriously look at a pair of smaller heads in the 180-195cc range and look to keep rpms under 6500...you can risk under 7k with zz4 but its pushing limits on pm rods and the rod bolts.
