Weird squealing sound

Ok so ever sense I bought this car its made this weird squealing sound and im not sure whats causing it. It seems to be comeing from the waterpump area. It sounds like a belt squealing so I sprayed some belt conditioner on the pullies and it didn't effect it. The weird thing is the sound only starts after the engine is warmed up a little. Its the wrong format for this site so I uploaded a sample of the sound here: http://www.mediafire.com/?7tths882vrtvkht let me know if you have any ideas please

-Thanks-

Re: Weird squealing sound

check your power steering fluid and your coolant level (check that the radiator is completely full at the cap not the reserve tank.)

Re: Weird squealing sound

yea I checked all of the fluid levels and if it was a problem with the power steering wouldn't the noise change or increase when the wheel was turned?

Re: Weird squealing sound

not necessarily, the pump may work but be dangerously low on fluid so i would just check it to be sure. most systems leak very very slowly over the years and its normal

Re: Weird squealing sound

change all your belts then and hopefully its not your water pump. if you change them and the noise continues check your pump. hope this helps

Re: Weird squealing sound

I thought it was the best at first so i pulled it off and checked it over real and its not dry rotted at all and looks good so I don't think its the belt. But it very well could be the water pump I will look into getting a new one to try out. Thanks for all your advice
