rocker/valve alighnment

I'm using Comp non self alighning rockers with guide plates. I see almost all my rockers sit 100% centered on the valve tip. I have like 2 rockers the sit slightly off center as far as alighnment. They are centered as far as pushrod length goes. Is this a problem or a non issue???? thanks

Re: rocker/valve alighnment
That's not enough to cause a problem.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist though and I usually make adjustment to the guideplate mounting to get things perfect.
Sometimes there is just some error stacking between the guide install and the drill/tapping for the rocker studs. You can usually find a happy medium by slightly moving the guideplate and re-torquing the studs.
Sometimes a split guide-plate is necessary.

If its two rockers side by side like that, then just shift the guide plate over. If need be, you can enlarge or elongate the holes a little to help slide the rockers over. If its just one, then you'll either have to split the difference, or get an adjustable guide plate for those that are off. I dont know if Id leave it like that since itll put more stress on teh valve steam face.
If you use a hydrolic cam, then the locktite probably isnt necessary. None of my GM V6s that Ive owned that used screw in studs call for locktite. Just about 25 ft-lbs of torque. I tightened mine on my alum. heads to 30 ft-lbs, and have had no issues. One thing I hate about the red stuff is that it makes things a PITA to get back apart. I like the blue better for things that I might need to disassemble down the road.

Re: rocker/valve alighnment
I'm going to try to adjust the guide plate to see if it helps. I had just loosened the guide plate/rocker studs recently. I called Brodix and they told me they use 1 drop of red loctite and torque to 40 ft. lb. After I adjust the guide i'm going to just go back to blue loctite.
