well when i drive my 88 TA, i have to hold the wheel a little to the left to go straight. if i release the wheel, it centers and the car starts to pull right. i swapped the tries, pull didnot change, alighnment is good. checked the play in the entire linkage underneithe. nothing is loose.. what coudld it be? i am hoping it isnot the steeringbox. cold it be the coupler on the steering shaft?

brake bushings,
the brakes use a floating pin with a rubber bushing and they will stick and grab, usually on and off, but they can get bad.
its one of those things that is cheap but easy to forget when doing front brakes.

It could the CENTER LINK. My '89 RS was wandering for many years and I thought it was the alignment. Had it done four times within 2 years...still wandered around. Changed bushing, pitman arm, inner and outer tie rod, idler arm. No luck, I even changed the steering gear box to an IROC gear unit and installed wonderbar, nothing. I also did the Rim/Tire rotation like you.....CENTER LINK (drag link), once changed the car felt revived and new once again.

i own an alignment shop. assuming the alignment is correct, there are three things to cause a pull. tires, brakes, or power steering pump. you switched tires around, so that's not it. check brakes for seizing calipers. one way to check the power steering is to put the front tires off the ground. start the vehicle.if the steering wheel moves to the right, then that's the problem. e-mail me with the alignment specs for camber, and caster for both sides. i will verify if it is correct. just because it is in spec does not mean it won't pull.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Stell1579:
