Serp setup bracket questions
The black brackets, one runs from my alternator to my intake, the other from my A/C pump to my exhaust manifold..
Do I need these? My air gap intake won't allow the one for the alternator, and my headers are too spaced out for the one on the A/C pump (delete)..

On the headers, we usually go to Home Depot, they sell a metal sleeve in the nut/bolt drawers for $1 that is about 1.5 inches long - it's perfect for mounting the A/C bar where the header bolt goes - just get a longer bolt for that hole (or use the old manifold stud that was a bolt with a screw on the top kinda).
The alternator I think will be fine - it's more of a try it and see deal - if the belty squeeks bad and starts to wear, then you'll need to fab something - but I think most folks get away without it as it doesn't have the pressure on it that the A/C gets (takes alot more force when the A/C clutch engages, thus more twisting pressure is applied).
Hope that makes sense.
