I know, another thread about smog and AIR system. I have read so much tonight I am looney. I have just got a 350tpi w/computer. I want to clean up the hood area by removing the smog pump and AIR off of the manifolds. I know I would have to get another belt, but I have read alot about having to go into the program to turn off the AIR otherwise the motor will run lean. Lean is not real good on a motor. I don't have a clue about the computer. It does have a aftermarket chip in it. If the program has to be changed, is there anyone that does it? could use some help
