speedometer not working???

speedometer not working???
my speedometer isnt working it just jumps every now and then and all of my other gauges work can someone help?

Speedometer Says 0? KEEP IT FLOORED !
Most likely an intermittent signal from the VSS.
To find out monitor the speedometer signal with an audio amplifier to make sure it’s getting a steady signal.
Connect the amp’s input to the gray wire pin 8 going to the dash at the dash connector on the right as you would a CD player.
Ground to ground, the signal wire to the inner wire of the audio amplifier wire.
The next time the speedometer fails note if the signal stopped.

Re: speedometer not working???
Check the vss wiring connection on the transmission tail shaft. It may just be a loose connection or one of the wires at the connection may be open just enough to intermittenly send signal. Have had both occur.
