HELP Engines stalls during electrical load. 87 GTA dig dash

Car: 89 GTA

Engine: 383, Accel DFI, stealth ram

Transmission: 700r4, 3500 stall

Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 370 gears

HELP Engines stalls during electrical load. 87 GTA dig dash

This is a new on on me. Just bought a 87 GTA Digital dash. Was going down the road last night and pressed the power window down button and the enginge shut off, and tach dropped to 0. depress the buttonn and the tach come back to normal and engine running. and this is not just when you press the window buttons. its prettymuch anything electrical. EX.rear defog, heater, signal lamps, etc. Ended up having to turn the headlights off and follow a friend to get where I was going last night. first thought was alternator, but it shows 14 volts on the gauge, and never seen anything act that crazy with a bad alternator. Maybe the ECM? I havent started checking fuses and wiring yet.

Car Contains Antimatter

Grab a spare headlamp & socket.

Now, with the car parked and running, place the socket across the battery so it illuminates.

Did the car stall?

If no, it might be a bad connection at the starter.

Remove the cables from the starter, wire brush them so they look as shiny as they did in 1987, and wire brush the area on the starter, reassemble.
