car starts then stalls instanly help please

atfer changing my head gaskets and having a head job done i got my 1985 trans am back running,pretty good for that matter started up and idled fine and had plenty of power,but it had a code 42 so i went about replaceuing the ignition module..... then i got to looking and noticed the tan wire with a black stripe(est wire) was alredy unplgged(the reason for the code 42) ever since i got the new ignition module in there itl just start fires pretty much all the cylienders and dies.wont idle


any help suggestions? maybe the ignition moduel i bought from autozone is crap?

Did you grease it up according to the directions with dielectric grease?
