problem with my tach....

ok,,,

I removed my MSD Digital 6 box, msd digital window switch and all my nitrous stuff switch and all the wires and crap that went with it... and now my tach does not work......what gives!!!

did i accidently clip a wire that goes to my tach?

i know a wire tapped into my msd box for the tach to work thru that....and i removed a shift light also but that tapped into the wire that went to the box.

all my wires that were cut and removed were on the drivers side panel. thats it, no where else.

im lost!

The wire that used to go to the MSD now needs to go to the coil.

Re: problem with my tach....

i was using the msd dual wiring harness 8876 that went from the box to the coil.
although i do remember there was a single wire that was the tach output that went to the box.....

I dont remember where that came from.

Hmmm, the boxes I've seen have signals from the distributor pick-up, and since they are multi-spark to the coil, have a non-multi-spark output for the tach so the tach doesn't get confused (which it would be if it was connected to the coil). No tach wire from the coil to the box.
