3RD GEN
I have them on my 91 z-28
and they are different back spacing on front and rear(can't rotate the wheels)
atleast it's that way on my z, may be different on the rs models

Im not sure if the spacing is negative or positive, but you might be able to use a spacer so it pushes the rims out.

no. They have less backspacing and will stick about 2" further out then the stock ones on the 96

Re: Are these 3rd or 4th gen rims?

Rear 3rd gen rims will actually fit pretty nicely on the rear of a 4th gen. Won't stick out past the fender but will line up almost EXACTLY at the fender lip edge.

On the front though (although I have never seen 3rd gen wheels on the front of a 4th gen) I suspect that they would stick out past the fenders about 1.5".

Re: Are these 3rd or 4th gen rims?

They are Z28 rims for a 3rd gen... 91-92. They were also optional on RS models.
