I'm building a 400 sbc all redone std bore and stroke,aluminum heads 190/64cc
1.6 rollers, accel ported base to fel pro 1207 intake gaskets, 30 lb injectors, afpr, super ram, accel gen 6 dfi, edelbrock tes, 3" front to back including tips, street strip 700r4 with 2800 stall, 3.27 posi soon to be 3.70.

I'm just looking for suggestions on what cam to use I was thinking the comp cams 280 xfi, or 268 for tpi.

I dont drag the car, mostly idle around town with the odd road course runs

Can't help you with a cam, but ... Welcome to TGO.

One small thing - not ragging you here (much), but you posted same question within 15 minutes of one another in same section. I see you are new here, so we won't smack you too hard {yet}, but please have patience. It might take hours, days, weeks to get a good answer here, as we all are just enthusiasts, and we all have different schedules, our own projects, wives, kids, dogs, and such to also attend to.
