water pump mount

i am mounting my water pump on '85 corvette TPI. The bolts that go through the water pump have the nut in the center of the stud, then the a/c with tensioner bracket fit over the stud and another nut is put on it. These special studs go into the waterjackets of the engine and need thread sealant so as not to leak through the treads of the studs. I tried using the white permatex px#80631"Thread sealant with ptfe" and when the engine warmed up and I punched it, it started leaking through the stud threads. I am wondering if Permatex High Temp thread sealant #59214 will work for this application? Anybody know the difference in Permatex "Hi temp #59214" and "High Performance #26521"?
