Alright it was running like a champ yesterday and then all the sudden on a short drive it shut off instantly and will not start now...it cranks fine and the fuel pump is working there is no spark at the plugs, and also no spark coming from the distributor, people are telling me it could be a couple of things but I am thinking that it may be the distributor cap...am i correct in this assumption to a point?

 

Get your ignition module tested. Autozone or Oreillys will do it for free.
