fuel pressure help!

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: borg warner 3.27
fuel pressure help!

what should the fuel pressure be on my 87 iroc with the 350? i ust tested it and it runs about 35psi at idle then if u rev it its at about 40psi seems little low to me but is that normal?

With a fuel pressure gauge on the schrader valve, and the vacuum hose on the regulator off and plugged, you should read 43.5lb at idle.
