86 tpi not running on all cylinders

this is my first post.so bear with me. i bought an 86 tpi setup and painless wiring harness . rebuilt a little 283 with mild cam and engine starts right up but then dies. its not getting fuel to number 1 and 8 cylinders. checked compression all are the same. got 47 psi fuel pressure. got spark, checked injector pulses ,timing is right on. no codes in computer.switched injectors the ones that worked and still wont stay running. checked tps its at .54. changed maf . new coil ,cap, rotor,plugs and wires. the only thing i thought was odd was when you unplug the connector do the distributor to time the motor wont start. everything is new except injectors and some sensors. and also injectors click when hooked to a 9volt battery and all have 15 ohms. what could be the problem.

How do you know it's not getting fuel into cylinders 1 and 8? And just because an injector clicks and pulses doesn't mean fuel is going through them. It's a fairly common issue for the little screens in them to get full of junk. Make sure you have the injectors hooked up right not that it's spraying fuel at the wrong time for the cylinder.

the other cylinders are working plugs look golden brown and 1 and 8 are like new clean and white. changed injectors to the ones that were firing . no change. not sure about injectors timing issue. has a chip in ecm that was burnt for no emissions.

The injectors are batch fire, two-pulse. If one is getting a signal all of them are getting a signal. There could be a wiring problem to the injectors and/or a mechanical problem with the injectors. Just because an injector solenoid fires doesn't mean the injector will flow, or flow the same, or atomize fuel, etc.
