Hydraulic roller lifters

Question. I have a 1991 1pc rms 2 bolt main block that can accept hydraulic roller lifters. Can I use GM PN# 17120735 roller lifters in this block with a small base circle cam(custom XFI280)?
Thanks

The "small base circle" part concerns me. They aren't extended tops, so they may sink too far into the anti-rotation guides.

Aren't the new ls rollers shorter than the "old style" and may require a different length push rod. I already have this motor running and I think I have a bad lifter, just want to replace it. This engine is bored and stroked,5.7 h-beam rod with 3.75 stroke. SBC cam was recommended by comp for clearance.
