Firechicken runs like hell until.......
I shut her down and let her sit for about 20 mins. i hop back in and she will start but will not idle!
this happend to me before where i let it cool and it ran normal again, but yesterday i let her cool and she still wont idle
if i i rev it for a min or so it will idle just below 500 rpms and doesnt sound to good. if i rev it sounds normal!
specs. 1987 firebird TA
5.0 305 TPI

yeah you know funny thing i just changed the module a week or so ago.... faulty new one maybe?
I checked the timing and it was good, i loosened the distributor and advanced it and then set it back and it runs like normal. Still bothers me knowing their may be a problem lurking.....

i went through at least 2, maybe 3 Accel ones last summer. Went to a Borg Warner and it's been fine for about a year now.
