Engine Reving high, brake stiff

Okay, i just changed my water pump out in my 92 Firebird and flushed the radiator. I thought we did everything successfully, but upon starting it, it will idle up to 3000 revs and the brakes are frickin stiff to the point that i have to use to E-brake to come to a complete stop. The revving fluctuates up to 3000 and down to regular idling level.

I have no clue what we did, could anyone give me some isnight?

sounds like the big vacume hose to the brake booster
got knocked loose-that being off will cause both of the
problems you describe
