wont stay running

i have a 355 sbc , i had 87 unleaded gas in it during winter, and i just went and put 89 octane gas in it and now it wont stay running....ive checked to make sure it was getting gas, and it was. ive changed fuel filter too, and it still wont stay runnjing...... is it bad gas or something else?
