have no fire to the plugs

I have 89 camaro rs with 350 edelbrock intake and carb. Yesterday my car sounded like it had a skip in it so I was taking the plugs wires off 1 at a time to find it then I took 1 off and when I put it back on the car cut off and won't crank (the plug wire was rusty inside) I have no fire to the spark plug please help

Re: have no fire to the plugs

Replace any/all plug wires that have rust in them. Rust adds resistance to the wires.
