Running rich is this normal?

I have a 350, with the 22lb injectors. BUT... I still have the 305 prom. My car is running rich when its warm. When it's cold she runs like a champ but when it warms up to temp. the car idles like it has a slight miss and you can smell the rich exhaust real bad. Also if I floor it, it will blow out a puff of blackish smoke when i'm driving.
Correct me if i'm wrong but I was under the impression that a 350 with 305 prom would run lean not rich? Am I wrong? or do I have another problem like a leaky injector?

Should I have posted this in the engine swap forum?
