TBI

Hey i just need some clarification
TPI = Tuned Port Injection (Has throttle body facing from of engine and more complicated than TBI)
TBI = (What does it stand for?) = Looks like a carb, sprays fuel from 2 injectors)

Main question what does TBI stand for? Ive see alot of stuff on this site and ive owned a couple camaro but never done any major engine work and im not familiar with alot of the acronyms like MAF, CTS, etc. can someone fill me in?

Re: TBI

TBI= throttle body injection
CTS=Coolant Temperature sensor
MAF=Mass Air Flow Sensor or Meter
MAP=Manifold Absolute Pressure
PCV=Positive Crankcase Ventilation
TPS=Throttle Postion Sensor
EGR=Exhaust Gas Recirculation
ECM=Engine Control Module
EST=Electronic Spark Timing
FPR=Fuel Pressure Regulator
IAT=Intake Air Temperature Sensor

If you have anymore let me know and I'll tell you. That's all I can thinik of at the moment

Re: TBI

TBI- stands for Throttle body injection, ECM electronic computer module, also known as computer for short. MAF- Mass air flow sensor, and then there is the ESC electronic spark control module. TDC- top dead center for firing stroke for the motor timing. That's what I've got so far
