Possible ground wire problem,
HI i have a `91 305 tbi that i recently installed a lt1 cam, vortec heads and going to be switching over to carb, however i have run into a problem with some wires... I connected the braided ground wire to the back of the head along with two other loop grounds, i then connected the main battery negative to the block and the other ground from the battery to the frame was still attached. However if i touch the positive cable to the battery it will shoot sparks and will try to melt itself to the connection so i have some sort of bad wiring problem. any ideas of what i might be overlooking... i added pictures of each ground location thanks
ground wire to the frame

three grounds on the back of the passenger head, including the braided one to the frame

main ground to the engine

the usual spark show

Re: Possible ground wire problem,
The problem is with what the positive cable has attached to it.

Something connected to the positive side of the battery is grounded.
