Car: 1992 Trans Am Conv.

Engine: 305 TPI

Transmission: Auto

delayed starting

Installed new fuel injectors,fuel pump,and fuel filter . Car take a few seconds to start. Runs good could it be a relay? Where is the fuel pump relay located?

Does the pump prime when you turn the key on?

Yes,I can hear the pump come on. The car just has to crank a few turns to come on.

often thats caused by the relay not working right or the ECM and not till the engine builds oil pressure does it kicks the fuel pump on and it starts.

Which isn't a bad thing really, to build oil psi before an engine starts.
