Wiring for an EFI sending unit

I'm working on my ls1 swap and doing my fuel setup at this moment. Since it was a carb before, I bought a EFI sending unit and put it in. Now on the sending unit it has three wires which plugs into a connector that's on the car located above the fuel tank. Would I run the fuel pump wire that I have from my ls1 harness to the slot on the connector that wasn't being used?

This was the old carb sending unit which has two wires:

This is the newer EFI sensing unit that has the wires:

This is the connector that the sending unit plugs into. Now the orangish color wire was the slot that wasn't being used when had the carb sending unit. So I would just run my PCM fuel pump wire to the orangish color wire right?
