350 Oil Leak Issue
350 Oil Leak Issue
hey everyone I'm trying to pinpoint where my 350 is leaking oil but I just can't seem to find it
It's not a huge leak, just leaves a couple tiny puddles after being parked
I've also had a friend check it out and he says it looks like it might be an intake leak
Any tips on how to locate my problem a little easier?

Re: 350 Oil Leak Issue
The leak could be a valve cover, intake manifold, oil pan, rear main seal, front cover seal, front cover, oil filter, oil pressure sending switch......you get the idea.
Washing down the engine and then looking for signs of leakage might help. Leak check dye is a more positive way to locate the leak, but you'll need a pretty bright UV light source.
