I just bought a 1983 Camaro with the 305 CFI engine last summer. This spring I put in a new cam, headers, and replaced the plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. In the process I removed the AIR pump and other emissions related equipment. The car runs, but it idles at 1500 RPMs for a minute, then the engine light comes and the RPMs drop way low and sometimes it will stall. Engine light goes off if I give some gas. I checked the codes its throwing, which are 33 and 34 (MAP sensor voltage high and MAP sensor voltage low). So I checked the MAP sensor with a vacuum pump and multimeter. It seems to be fine. I've checked for vacuum leaks with starting fluid with no luck. I'm stuck. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
