high pitched growling noise from engine bay(video)

after driving my GTA for 1000 mile trip, i noticed it started to make a growling noise coming from under the hood. it seems to me that it could be a pully or something. but i'm not sure. it varies with engine speed too. here's a vid.

It definitely sounds like a bearing. Check the alternator and the idler pulley.

well it's the air pump pully making noise. would it be better just to remove the air pump and get a smaller belt? it's already been disconnected by a previous owner so it isn't doing anything being there.

Depends on your local vehicle inspections. It is supposed to be there by law, but it they don't check....

Take the belt off, start it up, noise gone? If it's gone, then start turning things by hand to see if you can find one that feels rough when turning. If the noise is still there with the belt off, you might have more serious issues or at least a little more involved repair.

i already checked everything and found out it's my air pump. i was just asking what way was best, either to completely remove the pump and run a smaller belt, or buy an air pump delete pulley.
