Timing problem
I went to re-tune my engine and when I tried to time it I noticed that the timing chip was gone. Is there a way to time my engine without the chip?

By chip, do you mean the timing tab? If so, I think there's this measurement tape you can buy and tape around the dampener.

The stock timing tab has slots on it and the balancer just has a groove.
Aftermarket tabs are normally just pointers for a fixed point to aim the light and the balancer has the degrees marked on it.
Without the tab it's basically a guessing game where your timing is at.
