Hi Guys, Hope someone out there can help me out. Bought a 92 z28 heritage addition . Guy said motor ran good but after i bought it it started rapping. Upon disassembly i found 3 of the rods had no bearings. So I though I might as well go 350 or L-98. I want to keep the tpi set up and bought a 1990 vette long block with the aluminum heads. Questions i have are.... Can I use the 6 qt oil pan from the vette? will it fit? also how much can i modify the L-98 and not have problems with the computer. Thanks Dave

 

Well for one you will need to mod the comp starting out, gotta get yourself a 350 prom. Other things you will need are 350 injectors and a knock sensor for a 350. I have no idea about the oil pan sorry. If you are going to get a prom, I highly recommending burning your own, or getting someone who knows how to do it, if you do this you can mod the engine as much as your heart desires.

the 305 oil pan was really banged up. i have the corvette 6 qt pan but dont know it will clear the crossmember. Thanks
