I finally swapped from 434 heads to my bowl ported and gasket matched 416 heads. I also installed a 262xe comp cam with headers. I used the summit brand version of the performer rpm. And a holley 750 vac secondary cause I had it laying around. I am very impressed with this lil 305 the heads wer milled so i brought the compression to 9.3:1. Its very responsive and sounds awesome. It will spin as far as I want so now I need more traction and the 2400 stall and 3.42 gears instead of 2.73s and I think ill be happy.
