Car: 82 Pontiac Firebird s/e
Engine: 2.8 V6
Transmission: TH200C
2.8L Head gasket.

I have an 82 Firebird SE with the 2.8L engine. I was wondering would anyone know how prone are these to head gasket failure. I think that the later 2.8's had an aluminium head. Not sure as to what year they changed for cast iron to aluminium.
