I figured out the fuel leak finally. I need a fuel relief valve part number 10033125 and guess what not available from the dealer or part stores WTF. Does any one know of an alternative part that will work?

Re: fuel leak

Pretty sure all third gens use the same part. Google the part # and you get a picture of the part and I've seen the same part on 83,84,87,90,91,and 92 cars.

Re: fuel leak

Is that the fuel pressure regulator? These have a pretty thin cover and warp at the screws sometimes. I put a new diaphragm on mine and it still leaked. Straightened it out and put some washers under the screw heads and fixed it up.

Well, good luck. You'll be surprised how many of them don't work. Let us know how it works out

No this is a vent right off the tank in the back. It relieves the pressure in the tank

It really is hard to believe that the dealer was not reqired to keep making these considering how dangerous the leak is when one of these fail to work right. I wonder if there is anyway to force them to make them again.
