stupid tach question
i know i probably look like a super tard asking this, but on my tach there is that orange line from 5k-5.5k and then it goes to red. does that orange count as part of the redline? cause since i put a HD shift kit in, and i go wot my car shifts at just past the 5k mark.

no your fine its just not safe to keep the motor in that area for extended periods of time is all

alright, thanks haha i was a little worried with it, ive only stayed in the red for extended times a few times for testing my top speed and such but i know better 
i just didn't think shifting at the red was right for a car
