My 1989 Iroc with the 5.7L tuneport injection system will start only somtimes. When it does it idles rough and won't go over 2500 rpm. When it doesn't start the service engine soon light stays on. I bought it a few months ago and it was running great until I topped it off with gas and then a few blocks alter it went to no power at all. When I shut it off it started the bbarely running thing or not running at all. Please help me I have no idea what is wrong can,t wait to drive my first camaro.

 

First try the usual tune up stuff. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filters. Might also be a smart idea to add some dry gas to the tank.
