Can a bad idle have an effect on voltage reading??

As of now im still battling a bad cylinder and at idle my rpms jump quite a bit.

Can this have anything to do with my voltage reading?
I swapped batteries and alternators and my voltage still drops to 10 while driving. The car is an 86 iroc with a v belt setup, belt is tight.

It doesnt bog and the lights dont dim when the voltage reads 10 inside, but seeing my voltage drop that low is alarming. It started
Happening after i got a radio installed but im not sure if its related .

Does anyone have any ideas?

rig up a volt meter on the battery itself while driving and run it in the car. if the battery shows less than 13v while driving, theres an issue. it could just be a funky gauge though...

If the lights are not dimming, its probably not really dropping to 10v. Factory dash gauges are notoriously unreliable.
