after motor change - won't start

I changed engines in my 89 formula. 305 - 350. I had already removed the fuel injection and went to carburated. After the motor swap, the car doesn't want to start. turns over a few times, then clicking sound from starter area. I had the starter tested, battery tested. both check out ok. took out the plugs to see if it would turn over any better, didn't seem to.
any help would surely be appreciated.

Re: after motor change - won't start

if it were the starter, then removing the plugs would have reduced the load and the engine would have cranked faster..Replace the battery
