My third brake light and hatch light doesn't work.

So after I replaced the hatch motor in my 89 with a brand new one and got it working (flawlessly, might I add), I realized both my third brake light and hatch light aren't working anymore, which they were working 100% perfectly before this hatch motor surgery.

I checked the fuses to make sure none of them were popped, and they are all fine. Anyone have any ideas why these two lights aren't working anymore? I'd appreciate any input. Merry Christmas everyone!

did u disconnect the battery when doing so? if not u might have popped all the bulbs, try changing just the hatch one, if it works then get the others.
also check the grounds and thatt everything looks hooked up, might be loose from your monkeying around in there

merry Christmas

I didn't unhook the battery, no, but you may be right about the wires. The bulbs aren't burnt out, I tried the hatch light one in the dome light and it works. The lights in the third tail light are brand new. I haven't had time to open it back up, but I'm fairly sure I triple checked all the wiring before I put it back together.
