i have camaro 92 tbi from 4 years now and from this 4 years i change new starter 8 times and i repair it more then 6 time .. now i change the engine to 350 md carb and i have different type off starter the one have crossed screw and it is big size and it really fuc*ing heavy so i was thinking im lucky now no more laying down in the dirt to change the stater guess what?? i change it 3 time in 12 day????

... all off them the magmatic die non off them have damage or oil spill inside or in out side it just die like this ...

 

did you shim the starters correctley? which starter bolts are you useing? sometimes the knurled version bolts/metric?, will crack blocks, & vice-a-versa.

 

when i use shim the stater make loud sound like someone killing it ,, i use the factory bolts ... i didnt understand the rest can u use other word plzz english is not my first language
