Cam and head selection help

I have an 87 Camaro with an lb9 and 5 speed. Current mods are headers, cat delete, flowmaster exhaust, edelbrock intake, and edelbrock carb. I finally got the car on the road and it runs pretty good but I would like to get a little more power out of it. I don't really rave the car often but I do like to play with it here and there.

I have done some research and it looks like the lt1 cam would be a good swap but wanted to get some opinions from everyone else. I use the car as my daily driver so it needs to be streetable. Also are there any decent 305 heads that flow better than our stock ones that i could pick up at the junkyard or online pretty cheap?

Thanks for the help guys!

The only heads that would flow better than your current heads would be 350 Vortec heads, which have larger chambers and require a Vortec-specific base.

The LT1 cam is a little better, but you'd do even better with an aftermarket cam like the Comp XFI series. Plan on new valve springs, though.
