Pics of HT383 cam drive end

Like the title says, does anyone have pics of the timing chain end of the GM HT383 cam #14097395. I have spent some time looking around on the net. I called summit. The guy at te counter wouldn't check or take one for me. Anything would be appreciated. I'm trying to find out if the cam has the big canter hole so the opti fits. I have a machinst that will bore it out, but I want to see if i can save some bucks.

Thanks a ton guys

Chris

Here is a picture of the stock camshaft that I took out of my HTE383 crate motor. It is the same as the HT383. It has never been used if anyone is interested.

Re: Pics of HT383 cam drive end

yes it is. the water pump on an LT1 is driven off of a gear shaft pressed into the block above the cam, and it is drive off of the cam gear from the timing set. It doesnt look like it has the opti drive hole.

Thanks guys!

I have to come back over here more often.
