I have a 2.8L V6 in my 1991 camaro rs and i am going to be replacing the fuel pressure regulator, does anyone with the same engine know what type of head gasket to use or any other usefull info

 

Why are you asking about head gaskets? You onlyl have to remove the upper parts of the intake manifold to change the regulator.
91 should have a 3.1L in it.

 

well not head gasket but the manifold gasket i meant.

 

if its a tpi go to an orielys and ask for a intake gasket kit

 

The 2.8 intake is a "sandwich" affair. Uppper, middle and lower. Gaskets between each of them. I believe you will only need to remove the upper and middle layers of the "sandwich" to replace the FP regulator. Might even be able to do it without touching the intake at all, but I'll defer to those with more experience on that engine to chime in about the actual R&R procedure.

 

Looks like the top has to come off, might change the middle gasket & injector O rings while your at it.
