Please help with a gas leak

I just finished installing a Wonderbar and was putting away some tools in the car when I smelled gasoline. I went under the car and there was a damp spot on the tanks shield, so I unbolted the rear bolts and pulled it down as far as I could. Just small patches of light dampens on the side of the tank. Dose not look like the fill tube because it is dry. I also had the fuel pump replaced by the dealership about 6 years ago.
This car is my DD and the only form of transportation so really need to drive it. I'm going to take it to a shop I know on Monday if they can fit me in there schedule. Heres the main question . Can I drive the car to work and back until I get my paycheck next week ? If not is it safe to drive it to the shop ?
Heres two photos of the shield and the tank looks the same way and is about the same size. The dry spot in the middle of the spot is from me rubbing it with a towel.

Re: Please help with a gas leak

I would say that you're probably ok to drive it, since it's hard to tell how long it's been there. Could be a couple of things. Could be leaking from the top where the cap screws in to hold the pump in place, could be rusting out, could be one of the lines/hoses has gone bad and is leaking a bit. To truly find out, you'll need to drop the tank.
