1986 camaro cold air intake question

i am doing a lt1 swap in my 1986 camaro 5 speed, i would like to get a cold air intake but i dont know which one to get considering my engine space and it needs to be 50 state legal, any ideas?

Are K&N cones not 50 state legal? If they arent, i dont see why not..

But how does the Lt1's air intake look again? Its similar to the TPI setup right? If it is, a box stock replacement set would probably be the best idea. The TPI and similar setups are really great setups already, a cone really wouldnt be much of an improvement, if any at all.

If it runs to a box, just replace the box with a K&N cone.

If you have a camaro, just find a dual snorkel box. Its about as good a CAI as you could hope to have.
