oil pan bolts

oil pan bolts

do i really need to buy specialized bolts for my oil pan? or can i just go and pick up some grad 5 or 8 bolts for my pan? 400 sbc

They are not a "stressed " item so they don't need to be anything special.
If you have to buy new ones get socket head type rather than hex head;
much easier to work with using a long Allen key
