I'm still having problems with this gta I have to use starting fluid to start and when it starts the car idles all over the place I mean from 750 to 1500 then down to 500 and repeats over till the car is warm then stays at normal idle I really need help guys and my ses light is on and stays on till car reaches 200 degrees then clicks off. Please help me out guys I would like to drive this thing daily but it just won't start thanks Bryan

Not sure that a MAF would do well with starting fluid sprayed on it.

 

No I spray it into the throttle body

 

In that case...Your ECM would not be getting a correct reading of the incoming air.

What does it do with the MAF in place when you try starting? It could be fuel or spark. What steps have you tried to narrow your issue down? If the car is runing fine after warming up, that points towards the cold start injector/closed loop side of the system.

 

Car only starts on staring fluid and when it warms up and you turn the car off it and try to start it again fires right up I have got the injector proffesionly cleaned have new thermostat (overheated on me), fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump relay new spark plugs and wires, I have fuel pressure at rail 43 PS I have spark I just do not know
