Car: 1992 Camaro RS
Engine: 305 5.0L TBI
does my gas tank have baffles?
i was wondering if the 3rd gen Camaros have baffles in the gas tank. when i'm about a 1/4 low my car will cut off on hard left turns but it starts right back up no problem. i want to say i'v seen youtube clips of the inside of the 3rd gen gas tank and they don't, does anyone know for sure?

As far as I know the carb tanks do not but the TBI and TPI tanks do. Maybe your baffle has broken loose inside the tank.

It is possible. It won't hurt anything other than the problem is annoying. I have basically the same issue with mine as It was a carbed car and I converted to EFI but left the tank alone and added an external pump. When it gets down to 1/4 tank it can miss and stall under hard cornering. I have a new EFI tank ready to install when I do my planned engine/tranny swap.
